Who we are

What we collect, and why
- Newsletter: if you sign up, we collect your email address through our newsletter provider in order to send you the HOW Letter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any letter.
- Orders: if you buy something, we collect the name and address needed to ship to you, and a record of your order. Payment is handled by Stripe; we do not see or store card numbers.
- Analytics: we use a privacy-respecting analytics provider that does not set cross-site tracking cookies. Aggregate page views and referrers only — no individual profiles.
- Email: if you write to us, we keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful to the conversation.
Who we share with
The newsletter provider, the payment processor, and the fulfilment partner — only the data each one needs to do its job. We do not sell or trade personal data.
How long we keep it
Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Order records: as long as required by tax and consumer-protection rules (typically six years). Analytics: aggregate, retained indefinitely.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of any personal data we hold on you, correct it, delete it, or restrict its processing. Email us at hello@how.house and we will reply within a month.
Changes
If we update this notice we will note the change at the bottom. Material changes will be flagged in the newsletter.
